Registration Information
Registration for the 2025-26 Before & After School Program is now open. To inquire about program availability, please call or email our Registration Office at regbasp1550@gmail..com or (585) 788-9083.​

All children must be registered before they attend the YEZ Afterschool program. Applications for enrollment are accepted without regard to race, religion, sex, ability, gender identification, sexual orientation, or national origin.

Youth Empowerment Zone has partnered with Helen Barrett Montgomery to offer a safe, engaging environment for children during out-of-school hours. Our licensed program meets all state safety and quality standards, and provides enriching activities that often complement the school-day experience.

Program Overview
The Before and After School Program at Helen Barrett Montgomery School No. 50 supports the academic, social, and emotional development of students beyond regular school hours. The program provides a structured and nurturing environment where students engage in activities that enhance their learning experience and well-being while giving parents peace of mind.

Before School Program
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

After School Program

How To Enroll
Enrollment Process
Step 1:
Complete the Enrollment Form Click Here For Application

Fill out the official enrollment form for each child participating in the program.

Forms can be completed picked up in person from the school office or program site.
Step 2:
Submit Required Documents

Copy of the child’s immunization records

Emergency contact and authorized pickup list (Blue Card, available at the office)

Signed program agreement and tuition policy
Step 3:
Confirmation of Enrollment
Once all documents and payment are received, you will receive an official confirmation via email or phone.
*paces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Step 4:
Watch Parent Orientation
Parents may be invited to attend a short orientation session to meet staff, review policies, and ask questions.

PRICING & BILLING
Step 3:
DSS Funding, Future Leaders Scholarship or Private Pay

DSS (Department of Social Services) Funding
Families who qualify for child care assistance through the Department of Social Services (DSS) may use their benefits to cover all or part of the program tuition. Please contact your local DSS office to apply and list our program as your provider.
​
Scholarship Funding
Limited scholarships are available to help families in need of financial assistance. Scholarships are awarded based on household income, availability, and individual circumstances. Applications must be submitted with proof of income.
​
Private Pay
Families who do not qualify for DSS or scholarship support may enroll through private pay. Weekly tuition rates are outlined in the Tuition Policy. Payments are due on a regular schedule to maintain enrollment.
